Pada hari Jumat 26 November 2021, Pusat Inovasi dan Kajian Akademik UGM menerima tamu dari LP3M Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Diterima di Ruang Multimedia I Kantor Pusat UGM, tim dari Universitas Brawijaya diterima oleh Wirastuti Widyatmanti, Ph.D. mewakili PIKA bersama Prof. Indra Wijaya Kusuma sebagai Kepala Kantor Jaminan Mutu UGM.
Dengan mengusung “Women’s Empowerment through ICT & Leadership Education”, UNESCO-UNITWIN bekerja sama dengan Universitas Gadjah Mada menyelenggarakan pelatihan dengan tajuk “2021 UNESCO-UNITWIN Online Training at Universitas Gadjah Mada”. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan tanggal 1 hingga 5 November 2021 secara tatap maya, diikuti oleh 105 “srikandi” dari lokasi tersebar di beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Mengapa “srikandi”? Karena semua peserta adalah perempuan. Selain itu semua berasal dari latar belakang keilmuan bermacam-macam.
UNESCO-UNITWIN collaborated with Gadjah Mada University, held a training with the title “2021 UNESCO-UNITWIN Online Training at Gadjah Mada University”. This training was held from 1 to 5 November offline, and attended by 105 “heroines” from locations spread across several regions in Indonesia. Why “heroine”? because all participants are women. In addition, all of them come from various scientific backgrounds.
On the first day, the activity began with a greeting from the program manager Wirastuti Widyatmanti, Ph.D. who is also the Head of Academic Innovation at PIKA. Followed by a welcome speech by the Head of PIKA Dr. Hatma Suryatmojo continued with the opening by Dr. Jung-in Jo as Executive Director of APWINC, Sookmyung Women’s University.
